Axine has developed a low-cost, chemical-free solution for treating high concentrations of toxic organics, ammonia, and other pollutants in industrial wastewater solving a multi-billion dollar problem for large companies in a wide range of industries. The system treats recalcitrant and non-biodegradable organics, ammonia, and some inorganics at up to five times lower cost than conventional chemical or biological solutions. The compact, modular architecture is designed to seamlessly "plug into" existing treatment plants, without disruption to current processes. This means for the first time, oil & gas, chemical production, and other heavy industries can avoid the production bottlenecks and high treatment and disposal costs that have plagued them for decades. The company is led by CEO Jonathan Rhone.

Gridtential

Gridtential has developed a proprietary technology for an advanced Silicon Joule® battery that replaces the lead grid in current lead-acid battery designs with a plated silicon wafer. The Gridtential technology yields higher energy density, longer cycle life and deeper depth-of-discharge than incumbent products. Gridtential licenses its technology to battery manufacturers and by leveraging their existing infrastructure, it is possible to scale up the production of advanced energy storage batteries for less than 1% of the cost of building new battery factories. The company is led by CEO John Barton.

Svante has developed an energy and capital-efficient technology for capturing carbon dioxide from industrial sources. The company's proprietary process is less than one-third the cost of existing CO² capture technologies. The company is partnering with major energy companies to develop enhanced oil recovery projects and to enable the widespread adoption of carbon capture, utilization and sequestration. The company is led by CEO Claude Letourneau.
